The latter made the running and swerved in the final eighth under punishment, but came again under iiard urging. RIVERDALE was interfered with at the start, but steadily improved his position and was going fast at the end. STAR FINCH had no mishaps and tired finally. PRINCE HENRY was sharply cut off while rounding the first turn and ran behind the leaders until straightened out in the homestretch, then raced into the lead, but was shaken up when IDA CLAIRE challenged. The latter was saved in the early running and swerved out slightly in the homestretch, but finished gamely. FUZZY" WIZZY showed excellent early speed, but tired in the final eighth. YANKEE NOTIONS st a fast early pace, but retired at the end of three-quarters. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to ,005 and bought in.
