THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS OF 1916. R. Goose and F. Murphy played the star parts of jockeydom in last weeks racing, the former accumulating an addition of eleven to his total of winning mounts, while the latter rode eight winners. Murphys success had tlie result of making him second to leader J. McTaggart, who rode four winners, but lost some of his advantage. Goose advanced from ninth to seventh place and will lie clos. up to the leader before long, if his present rate of progress is maintained. W.
