KATHRYN GRAY was in closest pursuit throughout and swerved badly in the early running but finished gamely. REBEL was interfered with repeatedly by LANTANA and made a fast finish. LILY HEAVENS was taken wide for the entire way. but ran well and the race should improve her. SCHOOLBOY set a fast pace for a half nine and quit badly. ATAKA was never prominent.
