, • .MANY ENTRIES IN RICH STEEPLECHASE. Secretary William P. Biggs of the Maryland Jockey Club has just announced the list of entries received f.ir the Manly Memorial Steeplechase, 8S.8M added, to he run at Pimlico next fall. This is one- of the richest steeple-chase races ever offered in the Inited States. It is to be a handicap for four-year-olds and over, by subscription of Slu each, with 88,888 added by the Maryland Jockey Club, of which 81,888 will go to the second hone, 8888 to the third and J?2.10 to the fourth. Those bat declared by September 1.1 will be liable tor 828 additional, and starters will pay $.10. Weights are to be announced November 2.
