Fountain Fay was third :i half length away and a wise in advance of Prince Albert. Then followed Water Lady and Indolence right on top of the leaders. Prince Alliert and Water Lady both had bad lin k, the former stunibliiiir in the last twenty yards, while Water Lady was on the inside anil pinned against the rail through the last eighth. The outstanding disappointment of the afternoon was the defeat of the two-year-old Krigerio in the opening dash. Incidentally Krigerio was the shortest -priced horse that has tone to the post on 1he Canadian circuit this season, lie was a 1 to 5 favorite. The one to take him into camp was the Murklein youngster, Sol Gilsey. Mhieh came from behind and won drawing out bv a half length. The It. L. Raker stable scored a double when tather It Hey followed up King Conns victory, by making a runaway affair of the fifth race, lie never was in trouble and beat Ilocnir bv a length ami a half. The attendance was again large and speculation brisk. Weather and track comlit ions were all that could be desired. A light shower fell just aft-r the running of the first race, but it was only sufficient to lay the dust. Jockey M. Anderson, who was injured as a result of a fall at Ottawa, was an arrival at Wind-Kir this morning. Ho is still a bit lame but has lecovered enough to be able to accept mounts again. Capt. W. r.
