THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. F. Kobinsons successful work in the saddle has been one of the features of recent racing on the; Canadian circuit. Ilis advancement in the jockey list in the course of the last three weeks of racing has been rapid and steady. In that space of time he has ridden twenty-seven winners, of which eight were placed to his credit last week. J. McTaggart was next to him with five winners to his credit, an addition to his total scon;, which enabled him to pass the hundred mark in winning mounts. He is riding with skill and vigor this year and may soon depose K. Pool from the leadership. The latter is still out in front, but is idle at present. He is to come east shortly in charge of AV. P. Fuller. He will find competition fiercer and more difficult to overcome on the eastern tracks than it was at Tijuana. Ip to and including last Saturday the records of our thirty most successful riders were: Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. P.C.L.AV.
