AVon easily; second and tliird driving. BELLRINGER took the lead at his riders leisure and cantered through the homestretch. STAR-GAZER raced wide in the early running and held on gamely under hard riding, but could never get to the winner. HEMLOCK was on the outside of the leaders throughout and finished with brilliant speed through the final eighth. LOTTERY showed speed, but tired in the final drive. KEBO ran a good half. ARCHDALE closed up steadily in the final half and, having saved ground on the last turn, drew into a clear lead and held on gamely in the final drive. RHOMB fenced poorly and was forced extremely wide, but closed up gamely under punishment and Avas gaining at the finish. RACEBROOK fenced badly, but showed a good order of speed for a mile and a half, then tired. REPENTANT pulled ,f up lame. The others were never prominent. Overweights Racebrook, 2 pounds. SUNBONNET met much early interference, but slipped through next to the rail when entering the homestretch and finished with a belated rush. RELIEVE ME P.OYS was alwavs a forward contender and was not persevered with when she tired in the final eighth. SUN FLASH, away slowly, closed a big gap. HUSSV quit badly near the end. AVon driving; second and third the same. PRINCE OF COMO rushed into an early lead and set a fast pace, but tired in the final eighth and just outstayed CONNING TOAAER. The latter finished fast and steadily under pressure and would have won i:i another stride. HIGH NOON was in close quarters throughout and outstayed J. J. MURDOCK in the closing strides. J. J. MURDOCK raced wide all the way and finished fastest of the leaders. HANSON saved ground when entering tlio homestretch, but could not secure a clear course in the fianl eighth. XYLON tired after being a contender to the stretch. CRIMPER was under slight restraint in the early running and disposed of BLIND BAGGAGE at his riders leisure in the final eighth, but his rider took matters too easy and threw the race away. BLIND BAGGAGE set a fast pace, but tired badly in the final eighth. The others were outpaced, but 1ETAN and CAN TAR A showed speed. Scratched 28379 Delancey. 102; 28435 J. .7.
