In regard to rumors which have recently gained currency concerning the possibility of the sale of Vominern, it is, we believe, a fact that foreign buyers have made overtures to Mr. S. B. We understand, however, that even 50,000 pounds, or in other words, an advance of "ten thousand" on the record price for a stallion paid for Vrince Valatine would fail to induce his owner to sell.
