Won driving; second and third the same BEN HAMPSON had to be hard ridden all the way and seemed to sulk, but stood a drive well through the last eighth. KENWARD set the pace and moved into a good lead just before reaching the . stretch turn but tired near the end. QUIN fell back after going the first quarter.
