PIMLICO MEETING ENTIRELY SUCCESSFUL. Baltimore, Md., November 10. The mecting just closed at Pimlico was one of the best in the history of that track, and the average attendance probably exceeded that of any previous year. The improvements made by the management added much to the attractiveness of the plant and helped largely to increase the patronage. The new clubhouse, with its up-to-date conveniences, appealed particularly to the society element, and they rallied nobly to its support, making a notable and distinctive feature for the old Hill Top track. The inntuel machines received heavy patronage, and the per diem receipts were greater than at any time since the new system of betting was installed. The association spent a large sum of money in improvements this year, but they got it all back at this meeting, and then some more.
