TOKAY CAPTURES TIJUANAS MAIN RACE. San Diego, Cal., November 19. Tokay won the Ramona Handicap today witli great ease, Van Dusen had his troubles in keeping the Texas horso behind the pacemakers and, when ready to make his move, rushed into the lead at once. Star Shooter sulked all the way and was never dangerous. Fascinating ran a good race, hut did not even make it interesting for the winner at the finish. Fifteen books were in line today. The betting ring was crammed with persons and, from a speculative standpoint, results easily surpassed all records at Tijuana. Kootenay won the third race easily. Owner Williams stood a raise of 00 over his entered price of 00. A number of people out this way arc becoming interested in the horse and the latest is J. Dabel, of Los Angeles, who purchased Important from Peter Williams this morning. The horse Jawbone was sold by J. L. Paul to John Charles, while Prince S., owned by G. Sadlo, was also sold to Chcjles. The price in each case was not made public. President Collroth has completed his arrangements with the Santa Fe, and the trains are now running at an earlier schedule.
