CITY PARK RACE TRACK TURNED OVER. New Orleans, La., November 19. The City Park race track formally became the property of the Business Mens Racing Association, when the deed was signed by H. D. Brown, former owner, and II. T. AVoodring, renresenting himself and J. W. Gardiner, both of Lake Charles, in the office of John J. Reilly, attorney for the racing association. Dr. D. A. MacDiarmid signed a 5,000 check in second nayment and turned it over to General T. Marshall Miller, who represents the former owners in the deal, along with notes for the subsequent payments. No hitches of any kind developed in the proceedings. A little over two weeks ago, when the deal for the track was made, 0,000 was deposited in the Hibernia Bank. It was provided that the remaining 5,000 should be paid at the expiration of thirty days.
