H. G. BED WELL PROBABLE LEADING OWNER. Chance to Wrest Highest Honors from R. T. Wilson Big Stable Racing All Year. II. G. Bedwell lias an excellent chance to displace IJ. T. Wilson from the proud position of leading owner of the year, if his horses, racing at Havana, continue to display the same form as they have shown since the opening at Oriental Park. Only ,015 is the margin separating the two leaders. Bedwell has had the largest stablu of thoroughbreds racing during the year, fifty-seven carrying his colors on many different courses, from early in January up to and including the present Havana meeting. Tills expert conditioner of cast-off horses has had wonderful success with Iiis big band, mostly selling platers, having won so far 132 races and 1916.sh9,420 in money. R. T. Wilson, the leading owner at present, has 71,035 to his credit, of which the crack two-year-old of the year, Campfire, was responsible for a little over 9,000.
