CUSTOM HOUSE REVELS IN THE MUD. Wins Fullerton Handicap in a Canter — Selling Race Rule Being Considered. Tijuana. Mex.. January 15. — Custom House showed his speed in the mud once more- when he? won the Fullerton Selling Handicap. The black l.orse wa away flying, eiuickly opened a gap on his opponents, and won easily. Silvey Shapiro beat Tiajan for second money, the latter getting away to a slow start. Ancestors won the- third race in a caster, pulling up at the end. Anna Star, the Wingfielel filly, Stoud a drive game-ly to win the juvenile rare. Pauline Crowley was a contender all the way. follow ingo won all the way uiiextende-d in the three -A ear-old race. Lady Ceegee. running for the first time, was second and Dominion Park third. Cono-wingo was claimed out of the race by Smith and Dority. President Coffroth has issued printed ballot slips tr tin- horse-men re-questing their vote whether or not the present selling race rule should remain in effect or whether another calling for sealed bids on the winner, the run up money to be- split fifty, thirty and twenty to tin second, third and fourth horses. The balloting will close tomorrow and the judges will act as an election committee.
