Polymelus has only been represented on the English turf for a half dozen years, and during that IK-rtod fifty-six of his progeny have won 102 races, of the total value of 10,085. If the times had continued normal, it is probable that his English record would now be well over 00,000, but during the past two years the war has played havoc with racing in England, both in respect of prize money and number of meetings.
