TWO WINNERS FOR MIKE DALY. Captain Elliott and Cherry Belle Carry Old-Timers Colors to Victory — Jockey Minder Rides Well. Havana, Cuba. February 17. — Two old timers ware in the limelight at Oriental Park this afternoon. Mike- Daly sent two winners to the Jiosi in Captain Elliott and Cherry Belle, while- Andy Minder rode two winners. Captain Elliott and E. F. Albee. He-landed both in treat by small margins after long, hard-fought stretch drives. E. F. Albees victory was in doubt until the official placing was displayed. He just managed to last long enough to beat Thomas Hare. The latter ran in much improved form, and the stewards took his sudden improvement uniler investigation. Lucille 1!. and Muzanti were the winning choices. W. A. Carter left for Buffalo yc-ste-nlay to arrange to take up the- plater Early Sight that has been turned out at his farm near there since- last fall. Jockeys Me-Kenzie and Q. W. Carroll, who had the mounts on htarbtehead and Plaachke, eaeaped with a shaking up when both horses went clown whil--rounding the far turn iu the third race.
