BELATED ENTRIES IN TWO EIG STAKES. Nominations to the Douglas Memorial Handicap Insures a Good Race. Louisville. Ky., March 28. — A helated entry for the Kentucky Handicap is that of Friendless, b. c, ; 3. by Superman Luckless. The entry of Friendlcss was in the mails from Cuba, but did not arrive when the original list of entries for Douglas Park was given out. While there are some slight discrepancies in the total number of entries to the various stakes to be run here and at l.atonia. due to the fact that in some rases owners as well as trainers entered the same horse, being in different parts of the country, and knowing that in case of duplication they would receive the fees back, the lists hold up considerably higher than in 1910 in most cases. Another late entry in the l.atonia Derby, due to delay in the mails, was that of Sol Gilsey. a three year-eld hay colt by Plaudit, winner of the 1889 Kentucky Derby. East year Sol Gilsey displayed a liking for a considerable route of ground, and will be prepared fee the mile and a half fixture at l.atonia. These two additional entries make a total of sixty-one in tin handicap and the same number for the Derby, both of which will have 810,080 added.
