OMAR KHAYYAM AND GREEK LEGEND. During the last days of Oaklawn racing, Mr. C. K. G. Killings Knglish three year-old Omar Khayyam, by Marco — Lisma. showed some smart work. One morning he carried about Ul pounds and worked one mile and an eighth in 1*ST%, the first mile in 1:43, and was swinging all the way. Omar Khayyam is well advanced in training and should cut some figure in his Kentucky stake engagements. Mr. Killings other English colt. Greek Legend, a maiden, is more than an ordinary youngster. In his work at Hot Springs his greenness was most apparent, but he is of fine proportions and his speed and manner of going was most taking to the eye of the horsemen.
