JOCKEY CLUBS OFFICIAL TIMER ILL. W. II. Barretto, the official timer at the New York tracks, has had a stroke, affecting his left side. He is residing with Ids sister. For years Mr. Karretto. was the superintendent of the old Jerome Park course, which held its last meeting in 189-1. He has been an employe of the Jockey Club since that time.
