MIDNIGHT SI N sprinted into a long lead in the early running, bat had to be hard ridden for a time to withstand LADY EILEENS challenge. The latter moved up rapidly while rounding the fur turn, but was f,,iv,-d wide by the winner when entering the homestretch and tired. LAND LUBBER began slowly and was always mipaeed. The latter raced forwardly from the start, but tired in the final eighth SI PEKH1 MAN was a forward contender, but tired under punishment.
