The following cable was received Saturday night by Secretary Fraser of the Ontario Jockey Club: "His Majesty heartily congratulates Mr. Seagram on winning the Kings Plate." The Kings message was forwarded with other felicitations to Mr. Seagram, whose health did not permit him to come down from Waterloo to witness the success of his fine mare. He was represented at Woodbine by E. F. Seagram, who brought the winner into the paddock with a white leading rein. and afterwards received the cup and the certificate from the Lieutenant-Governor, Sir John Hen-drie adding his own congratulations on Belle Ma-hones victory.
