SHARPSHOOTER raced extremely wide and took a long lead in the last half but lost his rider at the eleventh jump. SPCR was under restraint early and saved mound when entering the homestretch, then made a game effort, but tired in the closing strides. BORROW ran a good race and finished last and gamely. DICK WILLIAMS quit as if short after running a good thr e-quarters. CKLANDRIA displayed speed in the early running. OLD KOFNK; and PERN ROCK were never prominent.
