CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. The veteran jockey W. Knapp is winning high praise for his brilliant saddle work during the Aqueduct meeting. Cassatts string of horses will be . shipped from Empire City to Saratoga Wednesday, m Buckboard has been added to the list of geldings. Kmil Hcrz has sold the three-year-old bay colt Nashville, by Cycladcs My Bessie, to Albert Simons, whonwas acting for the Greentree Stable. Nashville will be trained for races through the field and wilH for the present, race in the colors of L. S. Thompson. W- II. Baker of Kentucky, is one of the recent arrivals at Empire City, antj he has a string of nineteen horses in his charge. He has seventeen of "his. own and two belonging to his brother R. L. Baker.
