ENCOURAGING NEWS REGARDING HOURLESS. August Belmonts great three-year-old Hourless appears to Ixj recovering rapidly from the attack of skin disease, which the colt and others in the Belmont string have been suffering from since arriving at Saratoga, if his work-out Tuesday morning is any criterion. Hourless was sent a mile and worked the distance in 1:41, time only a trifle slower than is being hung up in the races. It is to be hoped that trainer Hildrcth has the colt forward enough to start in the Travers next Saturday for the long-anticipated meeting with Omar Khayyam.
