KENTUCKY AUTUMN ENTRIES, NOMINATIONS TO THE TWO LONG DISTANCE RACES AT DOUGLAS PARK AND LATONIA. Omar Khayyam, Liberty Loan, Eoamer, Clematis 31., Fizer, Ticket and Other Crack Racers Named in the Latonia Cup. Louisville, Ky., Sept. L A compilation of the stake nominations for Douglas Park for the coming fall meeting which begins on September 115, shows that 107 thoroughbreds were named for the three stakes, the Douglas Park Inaugural Ilandicaii. the Reechmont Selling Stakes and the Louisville Cup. Tlio five stakes to be run at Latonia at that meeting which begins on October 13, drew 32S nominations. These are the Autumn Inaugural Handicap. Fort Thomas Stakes, Latonia Cup, Autumn Selling Stakes and Queen City Championship stakes. Last fall there were 99 nominations to the Douglas Park Stakes, an average of thirty-three to each stake and this year the average is two higher. At Latonia there is a new stake this year, the Queen City Championship, and the five stakes at that course average sixty-five. Last year with only four on, the average was a trifle better than forty-nine, as the quartette of stakes drew 198 entries. The Beeehmont Stakes drew the most nominations of the Douglas Park trio, forty-nine, while the Queen City Championship is the leader, on the Latonia roster. This stake has an added value of ,000 and is at one mile for two-year-olds. The. Louisville Cup drew one less entry this year than last, there being twenty-three nominated for it. The list of nominations for this event follows: Louisville Cup, ,500 added Handicap for three-year-olds and over. By subscription of 5- each; 1917.sh0 additional to start; ,500 added, of which 00 to second, 50 to third, the fourth to save its stake. "Weights three days before race. Winners after publication of weights, 3 pounds extra. Starters to be named through entry box the day before the race at the usual time of closing. The winner to receive a hcautiful silver trophy.
