BRADLEYS CHOICE IN FRONT ♦ Makes a New Oaklawn Track Record at Three-Quarters. «. Fine Weather and Fast Track Bring Out Big Crowd to View Some Good Racing. ♦ Hot Springs. Ark.. April 2.— Bradleys Choice added another Oaklawn track record to his credit, when he covered the three-quarters iu which he started this afternoon, in 1:12, reducing the former mark held by Grundy, by one-fifth of a second. He was in with some of the speediest ones that could be mustered in this section, conceded them w« ight and won in easy style after having shown the most speed from the start. Assnme landed in second place aud Mars Mouse finished third. Considering the near close of the racing here and the numerous departures the past week, a really surprisingly good racing offering was provided the big band of regulars now here. The weather was like June, with the track in its fastest condition. The sport was interesting, with many dose finishes of the hard driving variety. There were few sur prises, those most fancied figuring repeatedly in the results. Jockeys Gentry and S.indc carried off the riding honors, each landing a pair of winners. The former was successful on Keuward. owned by the Ark. in sans Solomon and Jarmon. and Bradleys Choice. Sandes victories were achieved on Thinker and Ben Levy and insures him carrying off the ridin;.-honors of the meeting. Trustys defeat in the second was a stunner for the talent, as the Moore representative was staunchly supported. However, it was Kcuwards race from start to finish. The closest finish of the day came with the running of the sixth race, in which Ben Levy, under the energetic riding of Sandc. finished with a whirlwind rush after going wide in the stretch and. overtaking Hickorynut in the last sixteenth, passed and outgamed him in the final strides. Happy Yalleys victory in the f north came after a hair-raising finish iu which the Plaudit calt wort-down Ermitana. the pacemaker, and won drawing clear. Bert Williams. Thinker and Sir Oliver had comparatively easy times winning their respective races. A
