v LIVINGSTON HORSES AT LEXINGTON Trainer Goldblatt Brings Twenty-One for Meeting Next Week— E. W. Moore an Arrival. Lexington. Ky.. April If..— Mnsp Goldblatt arrived here today with twenty-one of Jefferson Livingstons horses and among them are Royal II.. Colonel Venule. Melus and Miss Boncro. all having stake engagements for the forthcoming race meeting. Jockey M. Cruise came with these horses. E. V. Moore came in from Nashville with Arriet. William the Fourth. Teehigh, Pianette, Hollinger and Salvatelle. Jockeys W. Crump and W. Beard-shall nccomitaiiied these horses. "My horses wintered excellently at Cumberland Park." said Moore. "It is a wonderful place to winter. Had not Johu Greener Ih-cii ill. there probably would have been a horr race meeting there this spring. The prospects, now thai Greener is recovering, are that a meeting will l e given after Ijitoniu next fall. Cumberland Park is in excellent condition. The Tennessee State Fair is held there annually and secretary W illard Riisswurm has the barns and stand in spick condition. The track was resoiled three years ago. Reardshall during the winter had an operation for th - removal of tonsils and adenoids and is a great-!v imnr.ived lad. . Wavne Lewis arrived with Fox s Choice. T. F. Borninau and James McKhiney came in from Imm s.ville. but their car. containing six horses, will l.ot Ik- here until tomorrow. Mr and Mis. E. R. Bradley will lie here tomorrow from Colorado to sjieud some time at Idle Hour tmtm The Bradley band of racers, which wintered *.t the farm under the direction of trainer Cliff Hanjmoii, will lie brought into the Kentucky Asso-ciiti-.ns track at the end of the week. Jockey Joe Notter. who has been engaged to ride Esioha in the Kentucky Derby on May 11. will come here to ride the son of Broomstick in the Derby Trial on May 0 and will remain in Kentucky to assist trainer Ward with the preparation of the i..t for the big prize at Churchill Downs. Last nights rain left the track slow, accordingly there •was nothing sensational ill the time of the horses at exercise today.
