THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS ; Frank Robinson still remains the leader of the American jockeys of 1918, but he is hard pressed • and having strenuous competition. He rode three winners last week and needed them all. Lawrence Lyke rode five and is now but three winning mounts behind Robinson. He has developed, into a rider of skill, judgment and power. But the riding star of last week was Daniel Connelly. His feat of riding five winners tint of six mounts at Churchill Downs on Saturday was the jockeyship feature of the week. Along with two other winning mounts at Lexington, it gave him seven for the week and helped his record materially. C Kuinmer continued on Ids successful wav and guided four winners home. H. Lunsford celebrated his return to the s:«ddle by adding two victories to his creditable score. Aside from Robinson, the riders who were successful in three races were L. Gentry. R. Simp- i son and L.
