SKA PIRATE, close up from the start, responded gamely when called oil in the stretch and won going away. GREEN MINT began with a clear course, but dropped back at once, then made up ground steadily anil made a fast tiuish on the outside. POlLTNEYS saddle slipped while on his way to the iiost and 1m- ran away for a quarter, but closed a gap and ran a good race. PERRY finished close up after being interfered with and forced liack. KING MUX, away fast, drew away into a long lead while rounding the tirst turn and was eased up after going three-quarters, but had to lie ridden out DRAGOON ran well, but tired after racing up to the leader at the eighth post.
