1 - RACING STATISTICS OF THE MARYLAND JOCKEY CLUBS WONDERFULLY SUCCESSFUL MEETING . The Maryland .Tnckey Clubs spring meeting began at Iimlico, May 1. and ended May li. embracing hrteen days of racing, during which time 105 races were decided and 34,110 was distributed iu stakes and purses. The daily average distribution amounted to the goodlv sum of ,913. It was by flr the greatest meeting ever staged by Marylands foremost racing association. The daily attendance exceeded • all former records, while siioculation in the mutuels was the heaviest since the introduction of that form 1 of wagering at Iimlico.
