LANCF.LOT took a good lead at once and, running a good race in the going, wqn easing up. IWIN raced iu close pursuit and held on gamely to the end. WAR NOTE stood a hard drive gamely through the stretch. MADRAS appeared handicapped by the muddy going and tired iu the last eighth. BIGLE CALL ran green. The others were always well beaten.
