Hancock of Paris, chairman of the committee designated by the Kentui kv State Racing Commission to raise the 0.tKH». which the breeders of thoroughbred horses are to make as their part of the 00,000 pledged bv the thoroughbred horse interests to Red Cross war fund, today said: "Our committee is hopeful that it will be able to raise the entire sum during the furthcoming week of the campaign for the Red Cross. We do not wish to defer the pledging of wur contributions until later in the fall. "I will be grateful if the newspapers will make it known to all who are interested in the thoroughbred that Ike] can make their contributions through me with the assurance that each contribution will Is- accredited to the Red Cross Chanter in the city, town or locality in which the contributor resides, or to any chaoter he may indicate.
