CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Tuesday at Pronpect Iark, Maryland, Arthur Pickens rode four straight winners, the only mounts he had that day. A public hearing will be held in the upper branch of the Louisiana Legislature next Tuesday, when the lipes bill, prohibiting Im tting on the races, will bo considered by the judiciary committee. A bad fall occurred in the sixth race at Pro«peet Iark Wednesday, the horses Capt. Man -hiuuiit. Hazel Dale and* Estimable going down. Dawson, who rode Estimable, had his collar bone broken and Casey, the rider of Capt. Murchutout, had liis hip injured.
