ELFINHART was badly outrun early, but closed up rapidly under energetic riding and outstayed HELEN ATKIN in the final drive. The latter tired badly when challenged after being much used in early racing with SANBERIA. PAZZA raced gamely. SANBERIA quit after going a half mile in the lead.
