The race between the pair is close and interesting. On the Kentucky tracks E. Sande had four winning mounts, which enabled him to take third place in tin- list away from II. Luusford. Sandes steady and consistent advancement is one of the riding fe.tures ,f the year and he seems a genuine comer. J. Howard is riding iu good form and is hard after I.nnsford.
