The latter showed high speed in pacemaking and held on well at the finish. ZILEIKA tired under her heavy imiHist. but ran a good nice. ST. QUENTIN ran extremely wide throughout. Won driving; second and third the same. STARLIKE forced the early pace and took the lead on the stretch turn, but just lasted long enough to withstand KINGFISHERS belated rush. The latter was far hack in the early running and would have won in a few more strides. PADDY DEAR was running fast at the end under weak riding. HONDO quit badly after setting the pace to the far turn. ARBITRATOR and AMALGAMATOR showed speed and both can do better.
