LINDEN was forced back soon after the start, but gaining steadily in the stretch, and disjKised of BYBNK in the last sixteenth. BYKNE raced prominently from the start and. taking the lead on the last turn, held on fairly well. SILENT BID had to race wide most «,f the way. but finished fastest of all. SEKENEST showed the most earlv srteed and appeared badly beaten in the stretch, only to come again near the end. PKINCE OF 0OM0 disposed of J. J. M1KD0CK in the first half, but tired near the end. J. The latter also began slowly, but dosed a gap and was going fast at the end. BEGAL LODGE was taken all over the track and ran an excellent race. FAlX-COL was sharply cut off on the first turn ami much used afterwards, causing him to tire in the last eighth. SANSYMING quit in the stretch. Overweights — Jim Heffering. 1% pounds.
