ADELIA W. began slowly, but. under good riding and saving much ground on the turns, gained steadily and got up to win in the final strides. CANDLE LIGHT was away slowly, but moved into contention with a rush and would have won but for being brought wide into the stretch. BOB BAKER ran forwardly all the way. but tired after taking the lead. TWIFOKD shewed sjM-ed and, setting the early pa.c. hehl on fairly well to the end. RY RIGHT was prominent iu the early running. Won driving; second and third the same. PETROVNA raced into the lead after going the lirst quarter and, under a vigorous ride, held BON TROMP safe in the inal strides. BOM TROMP, from a slow beginning, closed up ground and made a fast finish. SKILES KNOB showed the most early s|ieed and held on fairly well in the final drive. CHOIR MASTER tired. SANDMAN II. followed the leaders fairly close up until reaching the stretch, where he saved much ground on the last turn and. rescinding to hard riding, wore TOM ANDERSON down to win going away fast. TOM ANDERSON was well up from the start, but came wide into the stretch and lost ground. YORKVILLE tired badly in the last eighth. HPFFAKER closed a big gap LIBERATOR also made up ground. FAIRY LEGEND ran well for three-quarters. BIT OF BLARNEY came from far back ii the stretch. CALLAWAY tired badly after setting a fast pace to the far turn.
