OLDTIME JOCKEY VISITS AQUEDUCT Xew York July 1 Fred Littlefield who not many years ago was one of the prominent jockeys riding in and alK nt New York as well as during the winter meetings in the south or wherever the all scarlet of the Morris Stable happened to hi icing is spending a few days in the city visiting nis sisters and brother Barry Littlefield Fred was intiiniitely associated witli his uncle Wynd ham Wahlen who for many years trained the Morris horses and indeed Mr Waldeu was looking after the interests of that flue racing establishment up to the time when advancing years and failing health enforced his retirement from active duties and then the stable went into the hands of Ills son R W Wahlen who still is associated witli the turf ven ¬ tures f Alfred Ilennen Morris who in thu third generation of the family races good horses under the all scarlet scarletWhen When asked yesterday concerning the fastest horses he ever had ridden Littlefield replied that it was a close fit between Britannic and Correc ¬ tion but he was inclined to think that Correction was the faster of these two wonderful sprinters Correction produced Yankee by Hanover but as far as Mr Littlefield could remember that was the only foal ever produced by that wonderful daughter of Uimjar Mannlt Gray
