RODRIGUEZ INJURIES NOT SERIOUS Nev York July 12 Jockey Rodriguez who fell from Tea Caddy in the second race at Aqueduct Tuesday although not dangerously injured was sufficiently bruised to keep him out of the saddle for some time to come One of his thumbs is liailly crippled for the time being and one ankle is completely out of commission for the present and likely to remain so for a fortnight or three weeks He says that finding his mount dangerously close to the rail he made an effort to pull out of the jooket or rather to escape from it by going on through As lie attempted to do this one of the oilier boys pulled in toward the rail to cut him off This caused him to touch the rail and in fright Tea Caddy threw up his head and plunged upon the hocks of the horse just in front of him This brought him to his knees iiud Rodriguez went over his head
