NEW TRACK TO BE BUILT AFTER WAR WARDufferin Dufferin Park Management to Construct Milo Course in the Vicinity of Toronto l By Ed Cole ColeSaratoga Saratoga N Y August 7 When the war is over there will be a new mile track in close touch with Toronto The Metropolitan Racing Association which has been holding forth at Dufferin Park for the past twelve years will transfer its franchise to a snot within about twenty minutes ride of To ¬ ronto on the line of the Grand Trunk Railroad within easy access by trolley car and adjacent to the Hamilton Highway which will satisfy the automobilsts automobilstsAn An option has been secured on two or three sites for building an uptodate plant patterned after the best institutions of the kind in the country No effort however will be made to build until hos ¬ tilities cease abroad The Metropolitan Association will conform to all the edicts of the Canadian Racing Associations which it is presumed will hold jurisdiction in conjunction with a racing commis ¬ sion over all institutions in the Dominion when racing is again established in Canada CanadaMoving Moving the franchise of the Metropolitan Turf Association to another location will eliminate one of the halfmile tracks and will leave Uillcrest Park unquestionably the bestequipped and most popular institution of the kind in Canada standing alone as a Toronto institution
