NEW METHOD OF COLLECTING WAR TAX Louisville Ky September 19 Manager Hach ineister announced that a different method of col ¬ lecting the war tax on badges issued to trainers owners jockeys and others would be in use this fall last springs practice of collecting in advance for the entire meeting having been abandoned This fall the holder of a badge complimentary or other ¬ wise will be retiuired to purchase war tax tickets for use day by day as the badge is presented for admission purposes It will be permissible to pur ¬ chase these war tax tickets for the entire meeting it one time or as many as may be desired in order to avoid the necessity of daily visiting the booths that will be maintained at the entrance gates for the sale of these tickets This change will in no ¬ wise affect the regular daily admission tickets used br the general public iu the charge for which the iimoiiat of the war tax is included includedAdditional Additional requests for stabling reservations at Douglas Park have been received from R E McMil ¬ lan P J Miles F Goring and 4 McKinney
