tlic speed in Hie Tares of 1918 as compared with the existing records These figures cover all races run in this onntry at ten distances the most in vogue at regulation race courses of the first class The com ¬ pilation selects the fast performances of some six hundred races of sixtytwo of the l etter class of horses now in racing action Only three records have fallen the mile to Iloumer against
