HOW WONDERMAN MET HIS DEATH The death of the twoyearold Wpnderman at Empire City last week was the result of a peculiar accident With a number of other horses WonderT man was hitched near a road back of the stables getting the air A big motor truck drove along ithe road and scared the horses Wondprman brpke his halter and bolted For half an hour he led the stable liands a merry chase around the f ieUU Ifg waSja twoyearold fit ami full of the joy of living livingFinally Finally two stable liands had him cornered He turned quickly and started to run under an apple tree The branches were low and a stout limb caught him under the neck breaking it and killing him instantly
