ANOTHER KING LOSES HIS THRONE New York November 11 The secret is out and the King of Kensico has losthis throne No more will he be the only one to stagger home under a load of bass while the rest of us regard him in envious silence The secret of catching fish hith ¬ erto held by Artie shall be common property and all of us can go and buy new and larger creels and fill them too tooAVe AVe who have seen a bass spi out our plug and then hustle over to grab Arties have been amazed especially so as the plugs were identical but no longer do we rub our fevered brow and ponder on the nature of this magic For the other night we stole after Artie into the barn and there beheld strange sights First a safe was opened and therefrom was extracted a strange substance which was carefully and lovingly rubbed on each plug Then the king of all anglers stole forth into the night to greetus in the morning with a string of recordbreaking bass bassBut But during his absence with all the skill of a Sherlock Holmes we feloniously broke and entered that safe and the secret Is out Artie rubs and anoints each plug with a hunk f6f limburger eheesel 4 i i JLJ
