RACING STATISTICS OF THE SOUTHERN MARYLAND ASSOCIATIONS FALL MEETING AT BOWIE The fall meeting of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association held at Prince Georges Park Bowie Md from November 14 to November 30 embraced Jif teen racing days during which time 10G races were run and 83175 distributed in purses no stake races being provided The daily average dis ¬ tribution amounted to 5545 An overabundance of racing material resulted in large lields going to the post in the majority of the races with some of the best horses ever seen at Howie contesting the handi ¬ caps and specially arranged events The patronage was large despite inadequate transportation facilities and the speculation of good volume It was a close race between AA Cahill J F Sweeney and J Arthur for the honors of leading the moneywinning owners the three finishing in the order named with only a slight difference in the sums to their credit The following are the owners who won 450 or more each Owner OwnerCahill
