JESSE LEWISOHNS DEATH TURF LOSS New York December 2 The death of Jesse Lewisolm last Saturday takes away another of the turfs notables For several years Mr Lewisolm had suffered from a nervous malady but was able to be about and go abroad to enjoy the sport of racing in fact many times lie has said that it was the outdcor life and the exercise that kept him alive He was only one of thousands that have so expressed themselves The late James K Keene many times said that ho wouia have died young but for his fondness for racing racingJesse Jesse Lewisolm and his brothers especially the late Oscar Lewisohn had been partners In several horses some of which had notable career The deceased spent several years in France and Eng ¬ land prior to the war but since that time has only had racing interests in this country He was ono of the popular members of the turf and ameni ber of all the associations in this locality
