influence of warm sunshine but the going was still heavy and it is regarded as almost certain that the course will be heavy for the next two days at least The Fair Ground trackon the other hand showed little or 110 sign of the i recent rains Sunday morning the course was in splendid condition for the first time in over a week and this enabled trainers to indulge their charges in some real snappy recently secured from Major T C McDowell and Hanovhi Marshon and Harry Hurgoync Shortly before leaving Latonia Colton sold Byrne to T Schullman wellknown Cincinnati business man who turned the youngster over to R J Powers to be trained together with the two yearold Cacambo which was secured from George J Long at Latonia and several promising year ¬ lings lingsAl Al Kirbys shipment included Aiolet Ronnie Dr Tuck Blackie Daw and eisht other horses John Randolph brought Archie Alexander Hathildc and Hill Hiinley George Senn the Missouri owner brought only two horses these being Suuflush II and Gallant Lad LadSteve Steve Judge is at the Fair Grounds with King John Aeteran and Mose all his own property and Mars EganD Mouse which he is training for Ray Egan D S Fountain was the only owner to reach here Sunday from Howie He brought Thorn Bloom and Manoevre both of which raced successfully on the Maryland tracks A large shipment from Bowie is due to arrive today or Tuesday
