OMAR KHAYYAM TO RACE NEXT YEAR Will Then Ee Retired to Stud and Sent to France Pen Rose Recovering from Illness IllnessNEW NEW YORK December 10 Wilfrid Viau has de ¬ cided to race Omar Khayyam in this country next year after which he will be retired and sent to France to head a breeding farm which Mr Viau intends to establish over there The Viau stable is now located at Iclmont Park ParkJauies Jauies Boden is wintering at Gravesend having seventeen horses in hand Pen Rose the crack twoyearold filly was taken sick after her last race at Bowie but has now recovered recoveredWilliam William Midgley Is taking things easy this winter as Lieut Gifford Cochran has no horses to look after Mr Midgley will possibly take a few liorscs in hand next spring belonging to other owners in case Lieutenant Cochran has no other plans for racing
