KENTUCKY TRACK MERGER HANGS FIRE LOUISVILLE, Ky., January 2. After several days visit in this city John Hachmeister, general manager of the Douglas Park and Latonia tracks, has returned to Cincinnati. While here he conferred with State Senator Thomas A. Combs of Lexington, a member of the State Racing Commission, and Urn man who is negotiating for the purchase of the Douglas Park and Latonia race tracks by a syndicate of Blue Grass siwrtsmen and capitalists. Senator Combs wished to have the owners make certain concessions, but the general impression is that there is no insuperable obstacle to the deal, and that its successful conclusion will be announced within a few days.
